Cameron was supposed to have his first basketball game tonight. After school the coach told him he couldn't play because he was failing two classes when the last progress reports came out. He was so sad. He stayed after school with his friends to practice thinking he was going to play, then called me at 4:15 to come and get him. He was crying. Felt soooo bad for him. He told me that more than half of the kids playing basketball didn't get to play because of their grades. He should get to play after next week because report cards come out next week and as of today he is passing all of his classes.
